The foundation behind the team

Afiléon Motorsport moved from ambition to reality because Phillip J. Jones backed it in practical terms. His support funded the core race car, the transport trailer and a substantial part of the inaugural season, providing the infrastructure needed to build an operating motorsport programme rather than a paper plan.

His role extends beyond financial backing. As Team Principal, he provides senior oversight, long-term perspective, logistical support and the judgement of someone whose contribution is measured in what gets made possible rather than what gets advertised.

Phillip Afiléon

The day-to-day operation

Phillip leads Afiléon Motorsport’s technical work, driving, customer-facing services and brand development. His background spans automotive repair, professional driving and commercial-vehicle work, with the same hands-on approach carried into the paddock.

Away from the circuit, he is a father of eight. That matters to the way the team is built: the objective is not simply to go racing, but to create something disciplined, useful and lasting enough to mean something beyond a single season.
